Havana Islamic School (HIS) is a planned initiative of the Republic of Cuba Islamic School Board (RCISB) and is expected to open in September 2026 in Havana, Cuba. It is being established as the first Islamic school in Cuba, with a vision to support faith-based learning, character development, and community connection.
The school will offer men’s and women’s programs as well as boys’ and girls’ programs, creating meaningful opportunities for learning, mentorship, and community engagement. As a historic initiative, Havana Islamic School represents an important step in building a stronger foundation for Islamic education in Cuba.
